Safari & Travel

Wild Chapter’s travel guides are written for people who want to see wildlife well: in the right place, at the right time, and in a way that supports conservation and local communities. Every guide covers what you will see, when to go, how to get there, what it costs and how to behave around wildlife.

Our travel principles

  • Wildlife first. We recommend experiences that keep animals wild and undisturbed. We do not recommend riding elephants, petting cubs, walking with captive lions or any experience that keeps wild animals for entertainment.
  • Local benefit. Where possible we highlight community-owned lodges, conservancies and local guides.
  • Honest information. We say when sightings are uncertain, when fees change often, and when a destination is expensive or crowded.
  • Lighter footprint. Stay longer, fly less, and choose operators who invest in conservation.

Fees, visa rules and access change frequently. Always confirm current details with park authorities or your operator before you travel.
